Greek visitors often prefer a companion they can speak to in their own language. International visitors frequently want someone who knows the island rather than someone who arrived on it a fortnight ago. Both are reasonable, and they lead to slightly different bookings.

Why clients ask for Greek companions
Language
For Greek clients this is usually the whole of it. A booking conducted in your own language is simply easier, and the difference is most obvious in longer social bookings where conversation is a real part of the evening rather than incidental to it. Greek companions on our books also speak English, and in many cases a third language, so a mixed group is not a problem.
Local knowledge
This matters more than people expect on Mykonos. A companion who has worked several seasons here knows which restaurants are worth the money in August, which bars are pleasant before eleven and unbearable after, and how long the journey to your hotel actually takes rather than how long the map claims. For an evening booking that involves going out, that knowledge is the difference between a good night and a night spent queuing.
Familiarity with the island
There is a practical logistics dimension too. Someone who knows Mykonos can find your villa. Rural addresses here defeat satellite navigation with some regularity, and a companion who has been to that part of the island before is a genuine advantage on a booking outside town.
Availability through the season
Peak months
From late June to early September, Greek companions are available but heavily booked, and they are one of the more frequently requested categories on the island. If a Greek companion specifically is what you want, rather than a preference you would like to express, arrange it in advance. Same-day requests in August are frequently met with an honest no.
Shoulder season
May, early June and late September are the best months for this request. Availability is considerably better, notice requirements drop to a day or less, and rates sit below peak. If your dates are flexible and a Greek companion matters to you, this is the window to aim for.
Winter
Mykonos is genuinely quiet outside the season and availability of any kind is limited. Athens is the better option in winter, and we cover it. If your trip is off-season and flexible on location, ask us and we will tell you honestly where the better choice sits.
Booking a Greek companion
How to request
Say so at the enquiry stage rather than after browsing profiles. Nationality is one of the filters that most narrows the available list on a given date, so telling us first saves a round trip. If you have flexibility, meaning Greek preferred but not essential, say that too, because it materially widens what we can offer on short notice.
Notice needed
Outside peak weeks, a day is usually sufficient. In August, plan several days ahead, and before you arrive on the island if the booking is an evening or overnight. The constraint here is availability rather than logistics; a specific request on a busy date simply has fewer possible answers.
What we will not do
We will not claim a companion is Greek when she is not. This sounds obvious and it is routinely done elsewhere, because nationality is a marketing lever and nobody checks. If we do not have a Greek companion free on your date, we will tell you that and offer alternatives rather than quietly substituting.
What a booking with a Greek companion usually looks like
The social evening
The most common format is an evening rather than a short private booking, and there is a reason for that. Clients who specifically request a Greek companion are usually doing so because conversation matters to them, and conversation needs time. A three-to-five hour evening block suits this request best: dinner somewhere in Chora or on the south coast, drinks afterwards, a private continuation. It is priced as a block rather than as a multiple of the hourly rate.
Choosing where to go
If you are new to the island, ask. A companion who has worked several Mykonos seasons has strong and usually accurate opinions about where is worth the money in August and where is charging resort prices for indifferent food. Restaurants in Chora at the height of summer need reservations made well in advance, so if you have somewhere in mind, mention it when you book rather than assuming you can walk in.
Greek clients, international clients
Both are entirely routine and neither requires anything special. Greek clients tend to book for the language and often for longer durations. International visitors tend to book for the local knowledge and are more likely to want an evening that involves going out. If you want the companion to lead the evening, choosing the venue and handling the reservation and doing the talking, say so. Some companions are very comfortable with that and others would rather not.
Verification and what we will not compromise on
Met in person before listing
Every companion on this site, without exception, has been met by us before appearing. We confirm identity and legal age against documentation. There is no busy-week exception to this and no referral route around it. An agency that would waive the check in August is an agency that would waive it in June, and that is not a business anyone should be operating.
Photographs
Images are verified at the point of listing and re-checked through the season. When a companion’s appearance changes, the photographs change. We do not publish images we have not been able to verify, and we do not reuse stock or third-party galleries, which is, unfortunately, standard practice on the listings sites this industry runs on.
Honest availability
If a Greek companion is not free on your date, we will tell you. We will not accept the booking and substitute someone else, and we will not describe a companion as Greek because it is what you asked for. On a busy August evening the honest answer is sometimes that we cannot help, and we would rather give it.
Rates and what to expect
Rates for Greek companions sit within our standard range, starting from around 120-150 EUR per hour, with individual figures on each profile. Nationality is not itself a premium; the price reflects the companion, the duration and the season in the ordinary way. Where a Greek companion is also part of our premium selection, she is priced accordingly, and that is set out on her profile rather than applied as a surcharge later.

Common questions
Are Greek companions available year-round?
On Mykonos, realistically no. The island’s season runs roughly May to October and availability outside it is limited. Athens is the better option in winter and we cover it on the same terms.
Do they speak English?
Yes. English is standard across our selection, and many Greek companions speak a third language as well. If a specific language matters for your booking, mention it at the enquiry stage.
Can I request a specific companion?
Yes, and it is the best way to book if someone on the site suits you. Availability is by date, so a named request on a busy August evening may not be possible. We will tell you straight away rather than leaving it open.
How far ahead should I book?

Are rates different for Greek companions?
No. Rates follow the companion, the duration and the season, not nationality. The figure on the profile is the figure for the booking.

Yes, and it is one of the better reasons to make this request. A companion who has worked several seasons here knows which restaurants justify their August prices and which do not, and which bars are worth arriving at early. If you would like her to choose the venue, say so when booking so she can check availability in advance.
Do you cover the whole island?
Yes. Mykonos Town and the Old Port, the south-coast resorts at Psarou, Ornos and Platis Gialos, the Ano Mera side, and private villas anywhere. Chora is the fastest to reach; remote properties need more notice and may carry a travel charge, always quoted before you confirm.
Can I book a Greek companion in Athens too?
Yes. We operate in both Athens and Mykonos, and availability in Athens is far better outside the island season. If your trip covers both cities, the same booking process applies and we can arrange continuity between them.
