“VIP” is the most abused word in this industry. On most sites it means nothing at all. It is applied to every profile, in bold, alongside a higher number. It should mean something specific, and here it does: a smaller group of companions who are booked for longer, who are comfortable in social settings as well as private ones, and whose availability is genuinely limited because they are not taking six bookings a night.
This page sets out what that tier actually involves, so you can judge whether it is worth the difference for your trip. For many bookings it is not, and we will say so. For a dinner at a restaurant in Chora, an evening at a beach club, or a two-day stay at a villa, it usually is.
What makes a booking VIP here
Selection criteria
The premium selection is drawn from companions who meet three additional conditions beyond our standard verification. She is comfortable being seen in public, at a restaurant, a bar or a hotel terrace, without the booking being obvious to anyone around you. She speaks at least conversational English, and in most cases a second language. And she takes a limited number of bookings, which is the mechanical reason the rate is higher.
That third point is the one most people miss. A companion taking two bookings a week is running a different business from one taking two a night, and the price reflects the scarcity as much as anything else.
Presentation and languages
Mykonos has a specific dress problem: the island is simultaneously extremely casual and extremely expensive, and the line between the two is not obvious to visitors. A companion who arrives dressed for an Athens nightclub will look out of place at a south-coast beach restaurant, and vice versa. Tell us the venue and we will match the presentation to it. This sounds like a small thing. In practice it is most of what makes a social booking work.
English is standard across the premium selection. Greek, Russian, Italian and French are available depending on who is on the island in a given month. Language requests are worth making early, because they narrow the list considerably.
Availability limits
Premium availability is genuinely constrained, particularly between mid-July and the end of August. In that window, same-day VIP bookings are unlikely, and the honest advice is to contact us before you arrive on the island rather than after. Outside peak weeks, a day’s notice is usually sufficient.
Typical VIP bookings
Dinner and evening
The most common premium booking is an evening: dinner at a restaurant in Mykonos Town or on the south coast, drinks afterwards, and a private continuation. These run three to five hours and are the format the premium tier exists for. The companion arrives at the restaurant or meets you at your hotel, and the evening proceeds as an evening rather than an appointment.
If you have a restaurant in mind, tell us which one when you book. Some venues in Chora are effectively impossible to get into in August without a reservation made weeks earlier, and it is better to know that before the evening than during it.
Overnight
Overnight bookings run from the evening through to the following morning and are priced as a single booking rather than by the hour. They require more notice than an evening booking, typically at least a day and considerably more in peak season, because they remove the companion from availability entirely.
Multi-day
Multi-day arrangements, where a companion accompanies you for the duration of a stay, are the least common and the most planning-intensive. They need to be arranged well in advance, they involve a deposit, and they are only offered with companions from the premium selection. If you are considering one, contact us before booking your accommodation, because the logistics are easier to solve in that order.
When the premium tier is not worth it
We would rather sell you the right booking than the expensive one, so it is worth being clear about when the standard selection is the better choice. If the booking is short and private, the premium tier adds very little. You are paying for social capability you will not use. If you are booking at short notice in August, the premium selection is likely to be unavailable anyway and insisting on it simply means no booking at all. And if this is a first booking and you are unsure what you want from it, starting with a standard hourly booking is a more sensible way to find out than committing to an overnight.
The premium tier earns its price in exactly one situation: when the companion needs to be somewhere other than a bedroom for part of the booking. Dinner, an event, a group setting, a full night, several days. Outside that, book standard.
VIP rates
What the premium covers
Premium rates sit above our standard rates, which start from around 120-150 EUR per hour. The difference covers the scarcity described above, the longer minimum booking, and the social component. A companion who is with you for five hours in public is doing something different from one who is with you for one hour privately.
Rates are shown on each companion’s profile and are quoted as a total for the booking, not as a base figure with additions on top. If a booking involves unusual travel, such as a villa on the far side of the island or a late return, we will tell you before you confirm rather than afterwards.
Deposits
Overnight and multi-day bookings require a deposit. Evening bookings generally do not, unless they are made a long way in advance during peak season. Deposits are returned in full if we cannot fulfil the booking. They are not returned for a cancellation made a few hours before the booking, because at that point the companion’s evening has already been given up.
Choosing from the premium selection
Start with the format, not the profile
The instinct is to browse photographs first and work out the details afterwards. That order tends to produce disappointment in peak season, because the companion you settled on is very often the one with no availability on the night you want. It is more efficient to tell us the format first, whether that is an evening out, an overnight or a villa stay, and let us tell you who is genuinely available for it. The list will be shorter than the site suggests, and it will be real.
Be specific about the setting
A booking that involves a restaurant, a hotel bar and a taxi across town has more moving parts than one that does not, and the details change who is a good fit. Tell us the venue, roughly what time you plan to eat, and whether anyone else will be present. Group settings in particular, a table of six at dinner or a birthday, need to be flagged at the enquiry stage rather than mentioned on the night.
Ask what is not on the site
Profiles carry the essentials: photographs, rates, languages, availability. They do not carry everything. If you have a specific requirement, whether a language, a particular kind of evening or comfort with a large group, ask. We would rather answer honestly at the enquiry stage, including when the answer is that we cannot help, than have you find out during the booking.
High-class bookings across the island
Premium bookings work anywhere on Mykonos, but the practicalities differ by area. In Mykonos Town, travel time is short and the constraint is parking and pedestrian access rather than distance. On the south coast, meaning Psarou, Ornos and Platis Gialos, travel is straightforward but slow in August traffic. For villas in the island’s interior or on the north side, allow considerably more time and expect us to ask for precise directions, because addresses in rural Mykonos are frequently useless to a driver.

Common questions
What is the difference from a standard booking?
A smaller selection, longer minimum durations, companions who are comfortable in public settings, and confirmed language ability. For a short private booking the premium tier adds little. For an evening out, it is the difference between the booking working and not.
How far ahead should I reserve?
Outside peak season, a day is usually enough. Between mid-July and the end of August, contact us before you arrive on the island. Ideally a week ahead for an evening booking, and considerably more for overnight or multi-day.
Can I request specific languages?
